Adel Lootah is the Executive Director of Dubai Property Society (DPS), Dubai's real estate professional association.
Prior to heading DPS in 2004, Lootah headed some of the pioneering and landmark cluster development and real estate initiatives in Dubai. For four years from 1996, he was the Business Development Manager for Majid Al Futtaim Group of Companies. In the year 2000, he took over as Commercial Director of Dubai Internet City and when Dubai Properties launched its flagship Jumeirah Beach Residence, Lootah was named the Vice President in charge of Development and Corporate Relations. He has also served as General Manager of Edara, the Project Management arm of Union Properties.
He completed his education in the United States and Switzerland.UAE Chapter of IMD Alumni. He is also the Managing Partner of the Dubai Commercial Group.
Pooja Batta has been coordinating the activities of Dubai Property Society since 2005. Pooja is responsible for all the DPS administrative related functions and also for arranging the DPS events on a monthly basis. The DPS event related task includes short listing of venues in accordance to the theme of the event, suggesting theme for events to the Executive Director of DPS, securing best prices and deals from the hotel and on-ground support. Pooja is also responsible of branding DPS events, raising sponsorship when required and maintaining revenue records.
Pooja, who has a Bachelor of Arts from Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi, India, was in charge of arranging a number of successful events such as the launching of RERA Awareness Program, organizing the first General Assembly for the society, organizing the merger with Dubai Chamber of Commerce in addition to other monthly events.
During her professional career with DPS, Pooja was tasked of managing the society membership directory, coordinating with 280 corporate clients, maintaining a database of more than 3000 members, assisting members from the sign up process to the activation of their membership with the Society and handling other membership related queries.
